Soi.38

74 Pirie St, Adelaide SA 5000

$$ Expect to pay around $30 for a main, and an entree is recommended!

Using only the freshest local ingredients the menu at Soi.38 showcases the best of regional and remote Thailand. Chef Terry and his team have created a tantalizing and intriguing menu with Thai dishes you may not typically find at other mainstream Thai restaurants. Take some time to check out their menu online. We recommend the pan-fried chive cakes for an entree, and the chicken, pickled bamboo + basil stir fry. Make sure you book ahead through their website to avoid disappointment. They are open between 5-9:30pm on most days, closed Sunday. Check Google for up to date hours.

The Historian Hotel

18 Coromandel Pl, Adelaide SA 5000

$ Expect to pay around $25 for a main. Their mains are pretty filing but best accompanied by their sourdough ($6)

Located in the laneway behind Urban Mysteries Co The Historian Hotel serves up classic pub style food. Their hours are a little limited as they don’t open on weekends but are a great weekday lunch option, or dinner on a Friday night. Their free-range chicken schnitzel with spicy Italian topping (tomato sugo, sopressa, chilli, mozzarella) is fantastic if you like something in the medium spicy range. Bookings are generally not needed here, but check the website for their menu and google for their up to date hours.

Osteria Oggi

76 Pirie St, Adelaide SA 5000

$$ Be prepared to pay between $30-40 for a main. Remember you’re paying for amazing venue and service so the few extra $ are worthwhile

An Adelaide institution with traditional Italian cuisine and modern style. If you’re looking for a date night venue this is the place to go, you’re transported to an italian piazza with their intimate booths, cobblestone floor and arches. They are open 7 days for lunch and dinner, booking ahead is definitely recommended. The oven baked reginette, with eggplant, tomato and chili is amazing and highly recommended.

BB Steak & Korean Tasty

92 Gawler Pl, Adelaide SA 5000

$ Mains will cost around $14 but we recommend getting a few dishes to share

Try their popular staples such as pork Ja Jang noodles and bulgogi barbecue, or order some their dedicated steak menu. The Golden Wattle
